When her brother Dan disappeared in 2011, Loren left her job as a communications advisor to create and manage what became the biggest campaign of its kind in the world.

In 2013, after 18 months of near constant liaison with the media, public and various authorities, other families seeking her support prompted Loren to establish The Missed Foundation.

Her unique position at the intersection of lived experience and professional practice has transformed Loren’s personal adversity into formal expertise, creating vital peer relationships with the over 100 families Missed supports.

Her tireless, innovative and creative work has seen her present at conferences internationally, and establish firm connections with business leaders, creatives, philanthropists and Missing Persons experts and organisations globally.
