Ambiguous Loss Masterclass – Advanced Skills Training

This training package comprises a 50-min video and accompanying slides exploring the theoretical concepts, therapeutic models and practical skills for supporting people living with ambiguous loss (including simulations).

It is intended for counsellors (social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists etc.) including those in general counselling services, grief and bereavement services, telephone crisis services and private therapeutic practice, as well as police within specialised Missing Persons Units, search and rescue crisis support teams, and media professionals interested in interviewing families of missing people.

Once purchased, the video and slides will be sent to your associated email address as soon as practicable. Please check your Junk folder if you haven’t received the email within three business days.

100% of proceeds go towards the charity’s efforts in creating awareness and providing support to families and friends of missing people.

The Missed Foundation has made the prerequisite training (Ambiguous Loss 101) free with the goal of educating as many people as possible. (For in-person sessions, Dr Sarah Wayland’s Ambiguous Loss Training two-part course costs $250 per person, per session.)
