Jacqui Hawkins brings extensive experience and a strong commitment to impactful change to her role at Missed. Having formerly served as the Deputy State Coroner of Victoria and Coroner for over 10 years, she has meticulously investigated thousands of deaths, including high-profile cases and those involving missing persons presumed deceased.
Jacqui’s dedication to uncovering truth and delivering impactful recommendations has left a lasting impact on countless lives. Prior to her appointment as a Coroner, Jacqui served as a Partner in the Workplace Relations and Safety practice of Landers & Rogers, specialising in occupational health and safety. This background equips her with a deep understanding of organisational dynamics and risk management, essential qualities for effective governance.
In joining the Missed Foundation’s board, Jacqui aims to leverage her diverse expertise to contribute meaningfully to the organisation’s work around humanising missing loved ones and alleviating the financial, legal, administrative burden on their families.
