The Daily Telegraph, 13 October 2025
Almost six months since Central Coast musician Denny Kenneth Smith went missing, his family has renewed their appeal for information and brought the community together through a special fundraising and awareness event, Together Again for Den, held at the Budgewoi Hotel on October 25 from 2pm.
The event supports Denny’s five children and shines a light on the growing issue of long-term missing persons across Australia.
CEO Loren O’Keeffe spoke to the Daily Mail about the hidden burden of ambiguous loss faced by families of missing people, describing it as “the most traumatic and unmanageable form of stress.”
To further raise awareness, The Mobile Billboard Company generously donated a large roadside display featuring Denny, helping to draw attention to both the event and the ongoing issue of missing persons nationwide.
