Any Australian citizen is able to collect tax-deductible donations for Missed by way of fundraising. From fun runs, to Ironman challenges, the fundraising that our supporters have undertaken over the years have made a significant impact in our ability to maintain momentum. We have accounts with all the main fundraising platforms (like Raisely), so it’s quick and easy to set up.

One of the easiest and most effective ways to fundraise is by asking your friends to donate to The Missed Foundation for your birthday or for a significant marker. We’re registered with the PayPal Giving Fund so donations are seamless and are passed on in full (no commission!).
Physical challenges
We’ve had dozens of supporters run, walk, swim, cycle and even complete an Ironman challenge in memory of missing loved ones and/or to raise much-needed funds for our organisation. It’s a great way to challenge yourself and encourage your network to get behind such a worthy cause.
Corporate matching
One Missed family member works at global consulting firm McKinsey. She’s raised thousands for our charity through a memorial event and donations, and then they’re doubled by McKinsey! Many big corporates have matching programs – check if yours does.
Nominate Missed
From car dealerships to dentists, many small to medium businesses have regular fundraising initiatives. We were first nominated for Grill’d’s Local Matters back in 2013 and have participated (and won!) every year since. It all adds up.
