Is your loved one missing? See our dedicated site with advice, a checklist and templates.
Missed in Motion is a choose-your-own-adventure event that invites you to move—whether that’s running, walking, cycling, swimming, skipping or any activity that suits you—in support of Australians impacted by the disappearance of a loved one.
With no barriers to entry and taking place during National Missing Persons Week 3-9 August 2025, the challenge encourages participants to set personal goals to raise vital funds for The Missed Foundation.
More than 100 people across the country are taking part in Missed in Motion this National Missing Persons Week.
Together, we’ll walk, run, swim and move thousands of kilometres, skip 56,000 jumps, kickbox 153 rounds, drum for 12 hours straight, play pickleball, rollerblade and take family bushwalks, just to name a few.
This is more than a challenge. For many, it’s deeply personal. It’s a way to honour someone missing, stand with families living with the pain of ambiguous loss and bring people together in a meaningful, hopeful way.
