The Byron Bay community will come together for ‘Light the Night’ in support of missing backpacker Theo Hayez. This family-friendly event features an indigenous fire ceremony, music, and poetry to raise awareness about Theo’s disappearance. Loren O’Keeffe, CEO of the Missing Persons Advocacy Network (MPAN), will highlight the importance of community collaboration in missing persons cases. The event will take place at Clarkes Beach on Sunday, September 15, 2019, at 5 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring a candle.
