IT’S been described as the Mt Everest of sailing, but the determination of one Townsville woman to honour her missing family members will see her take on one of the ocean’s toughest challenges.
In 1994, Jenifer Jurss, then just 12 years old, and her family received the heartbreaking news that her father David Graham had gone missing while competing in the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race.
Then 20 years later, the family was hit by the news her uncle Andrew Graham had disappeared off Christmas Island.
